Hostel Sun and Moon

Awesome.

I Made it.

Well after my first night here I am realizing things are a bit harder than they seem. My feet are killing me. So now I am walking barefoot around the city. Finding a hostal was a pain in the ass. Most of all I miss my family and friends. BUT......on the better side of things I am really enjoying the city. It is so so so so so so so beautiful here. Not to mention all the bikini clad women walking around. I feel like I am in a dream. Tonights plans are to go to Friday night social club at my old school to meet some people. And have some .50€ beer. :) Also I will stay at a hostal again because I still have not found a good camping spot.

Just got to wonderful Barcelona! I am in a Hostel! About to go see the city and find a camping Spot!

The Countdown

2 Days until I leave. Dont feel ready. I am packing and repacking. I hope I have everything...........

Last Weekend.

So last night I saw Willie Nelson and .38 Special., It was a awesome show. Today i am going to Austin With Baby Inka. A five minute decision. :)

All My Stuff

So this is my entire gear all laid out on my bed. I Figured that everything I needed should fit on a bed because this would be the most amount of space I would have at a hostel or wherever I was sleeping. Also it helps me limit how much I pack. After I packed the first time i got rid of half the cloths but doubled the socks.
Final pack list:
2 Shorts
2 Jeans
7 T-Shirts
4 Boxers
12 Socks
1 Long Sleeve
1 Knee Brace
1 Hat
Sunglasses
1 Set of Fancy Cloths(got to have it for Back up. Cant always be looking like a bum!!)
1 Fleece
1 Poncho
1 Knife
And my Kitchen Knife set(Hopefully get a job as a chef!!)
1 Mag-lite
1 Camel Back.
1 Tarp (8x10)
1 Tent
Scout Sleeping Bag with built in mosquito netting
Assorted Baggies
1 Swim suit
First aid kit.
Day Pack
Camera
And of Course the Banana Suit!

ALSO......
I attached a Swift Water Rescue harness to the Bag for security so when I sleep I can attach my backpack to myself.



So strong I can stand up with it.



Another modification is the Camel Back. Priceless commodity.




And Lastly... my day Pack attaches perfectly to the back of the bag with a quick detach.

PASSPORT IS HERE!!!

So I Just got my passport. No Turning Back now. Nervousness is settling in. I realized today that I have absolutely no idea what I will be doing or where I will be in 3 months. It is a scary thought.......But a awesome thought too.....

Well I almost have everything now. Got three Pairs of shorts and 5 t-shits(thank you grandma Gracie)!!!!
And I Packed my Bag and it is not even full. Really good Sign. I also made my backpack into a camel back. Got the First aid kit too along with a Document Box to keep the valuables in.

So the countdown begins!
5 days for the passport, 2 weeks exactly for departure!!

First Step!

I am goinbg to Austin in the morning to get my Birth-Certificate so i can get a passport! Also on the agenda- Get a Backpack and a Sleeping Bag.
So Many Expenses Already!

So it is 5:30 On a sunday afternoon.....

And I have just bought a one-way ticket to Barcelona, Spain. I have begun a new Chapter yet again in my life. Any question? Ask away. I will keep this Updated with my progress to prepare and depart!
