Back in Barcelona

Well went job hunting today just to realize it is a holiday! Went to my embassy it was closed! I think I will sit in front of the embassy until they give me a passport for free!

What a Horrible Week

It started off trying to get out of germany. Blagging trains left and right. I thimk we saved about 1500€ overall. It was great. The only downside was the amount of trains we had to take because of the bikes. We were in about 4 to 5 train stations a day. People kept instructing us to go to shithole towns. No bueno. Iformation desks telling us there were trains when there were not. Then came france. All the strikes really fucked up the trains. Half the trains were not running. So, we had to goo to the northern coast of spain and try to get down to barcelona. Sounds simple? I think not. Three days later I am still not in Barcelona. Tommorow for sure. But on the brighter side of thigs here is a map of the whole trip. Of course towns are excluded and about a hundred train stations but this is the jist of it.

So sorry everyone for not posting much. I have been biking across europe!!!! Out of money! trying to get back to Barcelona on 10€. This ought to be fun!!! Any donations would be sweet!

I have my Bike now. Its all rigged up with saddle bags lights the works. Still planning on using only one gear! It adds to the adventure. I got my tent too, small but mighty, Stove is in the bags too. Now just to start to get in shape......

Well my rent is up on the 21st of the month. I will be planning to bike to Munich from barcelona for Oktoberfest. It is about 900 miles if i ride 15 mph for 6 hrs a day i will get there in 9 days. but i know i can bike fastyer and longer than that. Donations always accepted! thanks!

Moving on....

Barcelona has been too much fun! I am fortunately moving on from this city, giving my liver a break. On sept 25 I am off to Dusseldorf. From there I will hitchhike to munich for OKTOBERFEST!!! After that my friend Gary and I will be cruising around germany for a month before we hwead to Swizerland for working the winter at a ski resort called NENDAZ!! I could use some donations for my flight to germany! It cost 20 euro! The thing is my credit card has 25 dollars overdraft here and there is no branches to put money on it!! My bank lied! They said there were branches everywhere! So the bank has been taking the monthly maintenece fees out while I been gone and it is 25 under, so in total I need 50 bucks!!! If you can donate it would help alot! Just trying to book a flight!! Thanks everyone!

Well i am pretty well sorted now. I am making some good coin but, i think i might go back to living on the street to save up for winter. I wonder where i am going to go next...... any ideas? Maybe Berlin? Amsterdam? many places little time.

So no more squtting! I am now a official Barcelona resident. I have a apartment. Four room, living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom! I am going to open it up as a underground hostel!!! Bring it on Spain!!

Born To Crawl

Well the crew is killing it! We are a serious contender in the bar crawl arena. We got airbrushed shirts and stuff. Getting to be real legit.

I also was working the other night and a old time friend showed up on my bar crawl! I had not seen him in years! Of all the cities in the world and all the people and all the different bar crawls he ended up on mine! How crazy! Small world!

So the Barcelona Football victory was nuts. I have never had a more insane life threatening time! I made it to the center of the Party and actually got to climb the famous light post! (Thats me in the Green Shirt!)

Today is the day

Today was much fun. Went to the beach because I am low on money. It is way easier to not spend when there is nothing to buy. Thought I would throw up a few pics of the crew. Love these guys they are keeping me sane!

Life as usual....

So I have Had a interesting yet wonderful past two days. First off I would like to say I have met some amazing people. Truley good souls. There are two Daves(the Aussies) and there is Gary(the irish).

They have been what you could call my roommates, except for the fact that we all sleep on the streets, watch each others backs, and have genuine care for each other. We all work together doing a pub crawl. Pretty much we get people to come pay to party with us. Its pretty cool. So now that you know the characters of my story I will fill you in on my life as of now......
Last night was crazy. We have never hustled the street so hard. We got mad people to come. Survived a fight or two between rival pub crawl people and got extremely wasted.

I also had the honour of Hooking up with chicks on the rambla(Keep in mind i am homeless and i look homeless!). Also that night while we were on our cardboard mats about to go to sleep theese two Australian girls thought I was gorgeus and decided to hang out with us on the street. They endud up hooking up with me(Why? I have no idea. We probably smelled like ass but IDK!). So it has Been wonderful on the female side.
Later that night while I was alseep some random Skitzo freak threw a shard of glass at me?¿?¿? It Gashed my arm pretty good. Luckily i have a decent medical kit with me and cleaned it up pretty good. I Chased him down and got rid of his ass.
So that was Crazy. Then in the morning when I was cleanig my wound another homeless guy came out of nowhere and started waving the glass shard around and started to get a little too crazy. So I got my shirt ready to deflect it if he went crazy. He did not which was a releif.
At this point The two Daves and I decide the Rambla is a fucking nuthouse today and we go in search of this Bath-Pond I have been wanting to see. And We Found it!

I loved this spot. It is our new Lunch Spot!


It was so Beautiful. We had a siesta, lunch and smoked a few Joints. What a wonderful Afternoon.

The crew and I are also looking at starting a hostel this summer. we will probably have enough money this weekend to get a apartment and a few Bunkbeds and start our own hostel. We will probably call it ¨The Mushroom Cloud¨. It will be only like 10€ to stay. Just a Flop House. That is our Summer Plan.

Ughhh

So I had a terrible past three days. I got robbed and I got stuck in a storm. To top it all off my tarp got Ripped off my tent and blew away, And.....My tent has been blown to shreds. I had to do a midnight dash to the highway in the pouring rain and hail to hitchhike for two hours before someone got me.
Now lets talk about those anarchy kids. What a group of Shit heads. If the world went according to them, society would implode. All they do is steal, fight, and drink. They Gang robbed me (A bunch of cowards too, they cant even do one on one) and then just tried to fuck my shit up. Luckily I had my solid wood cane but push came to shove i had to give up what was in my pockets. But there was no way in hell I would let them have my Bag and they knew it. So after Hiking all the way to france, I come back with half my stuff, tore up, beat up and most of all hungry because I could not find a gas station or food for my life! Ughhhhh
So now I have no idea what to do or what made me decide to come to europe. It seems like travelling like this was a dream and should stay a dream. Fuck the anarchist kids, they really know how to screw up a trip. I am really thinking about coming home and starting over. Doing the whole american thing of just working, and doing nothing. I had my fun. Guess it might be over. A faliure is a faliure.

I Made it.

Well after my first night here I am realizing things are a bit harder than they seem. My feet are killing me. So now I am walking barefoot around the city. Finding a hostal was a pain in the ass. Most of all I miss my family and friends. BUT......on the better side of things I am really enjoying the city. It is so so so so so so so beautiful here. Not to mention all the bikini clad women walking around. I feel like I am in a dream. Tonights plans are to go to Friday night social club at my old school to meet some people. And have some .50€ beer. :) Also I will stay at a hostal again because I still have not found a good camping spot.

So last night I saw Willie Nelson and .38 Special., It was a awesome show. Today i am going to Austin With Baby Inka. A five minute decision. :)

All My Stuff

So this is my entire gear all laid out on my bed. I Figured that everything I needed should fit on a bed because this would be the most amount of space I would have at a hostel or wherever I was sleeping. Also it helps me limit how much I pack. After I packed the first time i got rid of half the cloths but doubled the socks.

1 Set of Fancy Cloths(got to have it for Back up. Cant always be looking like a bum!!)

I attached a Swift Water Rescue harness to the Bag for security so when I sleep I can attach my backpack to myself.



So strong I can stand up with it.



Another modification is the Camel Back. Priceless commodity.




And Lastly... my day Pack attaches perfectly to the back of the bag with a quick detach.
